How Much are GPVouchers?

  • Virtual Doc Consult in partnership with She Arises Foundation offers discounted medical care through the use of GPVouchers. These come with a huge cost saving on Virtual Doc Consult platform. She Arises Foundation's mandate is to end period poverty in South Africa. Each paid subscription fee contributes one packet of sanitary pads to a school child in South Africa.

How GPVouchers Work

 

  • GPVouchers are only redeemable at Virtual Doc Consult, a virtual medical practice with Doctors waiting to serve you.

 

  • GPVoucher is not a medical aid. No contracts, no age limit.

 

  • GPVouchers permit unlimited virtual consultations including prescription for medication and sick notes. You receive a lifetime family code upon registration for use on Virtual Doc Consult. The family code can only be used by persons stated on registration forms.

 

  • You may upgrade (add participants) or downgrade (remove participants) anytime.

 

  • There is a 3 months waiting period for all new participants. You start consulting using GPVoucher family code after the third payment of your monthly subscription fee. Subscription fees are non-refundable.

 

  • GPVoucher service is a monthly subscription service. Should you be in arrears, the account will be placed on hold. The arrears amount will have to be settled before account re-activation.

 

  • A GP cash consultation on Virtual Doc Consult costs R320. Should you need a Doctor while still on waiting period, you only pay R220. Valid after the receipt of your first month's subscription.
